Founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1998, ProFlute AB was established by four like-minded partners united by a powerful vision: to develop and manufacture the world’s finest silica gel dehumidification rotors. Through years of dedicated effort, ProFlute has become a well-recognized brand in the industry, delivering high-performance desiccant rotors to equipment manufacturers worldwide.

In 2000, Jiangyin SAT Air Treatment Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province. The company specialized in humidity control products and began producing SAT-brand humidifiers and related humidification media. With a strong focus on product quality and technological innovation, SAT quickly gained recognition in the humidity control market, earning growing customer trust and expanding its market share.

In May 2004, SAT began collaborating with Sweden’s ProFlute AB. By importing desiccant media directly from ProFlute, SAT commenced batch production of adsorption dehumidifier rotors. The company developed a range of high-efficiency rotors—including PPS silica gel rotors, PPM molecular sieve rotors, PPC low-temperature regeneration rotors, and PPX super silica gel rotors—meeting the strong demand among domestic dehumidifier manufacturers for international-grade rotors and providing reliable solutions for rotor replacement needs.

Under the new ownership structure, both SAT and ProFlute AB continue to operate independently as usual, with all business activities proceeding uninterrupted. The new company has further introduced advanced production facilities and products, expanding and enriching the existing product line with additional types of components and services to better meet market demands.
